CNH liquidity tightens - in Hong Kong

Over the course of this year, the authorities in Beijing eased capital controls, allowing renminbi raised offshore to flow back into the mainland and granting renminbi clearing status to banks in Taiwan and Singapore. These moves are - at least in theory - meant to promote the growth of liquidity across the offshore renminbi (CNH) markets.
